Halloween
As some of you know Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year and I go all out on our decorations. I also throw a big party each year.
This all started about 10 years ago with a few decorations which I have added to over the years. Some of the props I have made myself like the full size TARDIS I built for Halloween about 4 years ago. The TARDIS is a permanent fixture in my front yard now, but that's another story.
Last year I built full size stocks that have been a hit for photos.
I have a full graveyard with zombies that is lit with some eerie lighting. A back lit huge spiderweb with a giant spider guarding it surrounded with the bones of its last meal.
My pride and joys are some of the digital effect I have added over the last couple of years. I have the mirror from sleeping beauty where the mystical face appears and disappears
I also have a living portrait that sits on a painters easel and slowly move right in front of your eyes until it jumps at you. Click on the link below to see it in action.
There are ghosts in the upstairs window and my personal favorite is the singing storytelling pumpkins. Click the link to see them.
This year we had some very good friends bring their car to the party. Their car is one of the '67 Impala's that was used on the TV show Supernatural. The guests including me had a great time with the photo shoot we had set up for the evening. The truck is filled with props from the show which Brian and Amber kindly let us use in photos. I even got a ride around the block in this amazing car. Big shout out to Brian and Amber, they are both amazing people and I am honored to call them friends.
My friend captured some amazing shots during the evening. We used a smoke machine to add to some of the photos and got this amazing shot.
As always keep an eye on my Facebook page for all the current updates and shenanigans of Identity Crisis Costuming.
